What is your definition of financial success?

One way to view financial success is as the accumulation of enough wealth, through work, saving and investment, to provide security and comfort for you and your family. Things can get tricky, however, as you begin to factor in other types of success. People often lose sight of the fact that money can buy freedom and possessions, but it can’t buy happiness and can even take some away. Financial security is necessary for most of us to have a sense of satisfaction with life in general, but while more money means more things, it often means, for instance, more stress and less free time, too. That doesn’t mean that more money is bad, just that balance and perspective are needed to estimate the costs that acquiring wealth brings, as well as the benefits.
